Many have came and gone through my life.
Quite a few with my love I have shared.
A few months ago I was left all alone
And another piece of my heart torn apart.
You took that extra step closer into my life
And at first I wasn't sure what to do.
But then your thoughts were like mine
I felt us start to entwine. I found a friend out of the blue
Your words all were so true
As I discovered this was something more.
You're not just a friend, but more like a brother.
For your love I desire more than my own mother.
With these feelings I share, and the love that I bare
Please hold me close, please tell me you care.
Although, I accept your love for your wife
For when the time in my life comes
I know you'll accept mine too.
